About AX News
AX News is the publication of AX Sports, a home for sports fans: live scores with the line on every game, each team's own video, the room where both fanbases talk, tickets, and an AI assistant that knows your teams.
Everything we publish also appears inside the AX Sports app.
How our articles are made
AX News is produced on the AX Sports data platform, which brings together the live sports record across every major league: scores, schedules, betting lines, news and more.
Our columns, published under the name Run It Back, and our game previews are written by our AI newsroom system working from that platform. The system is instructed never to invent a player, statistic, injury or quote. Where a column draws on other outlets' reporting, that reporting is credited and linked at the bottom of the piece.
These pieces are written by AI and are labeled that way on every article, under the byline AX News Desk. Pieces written by people carry the writer's own byline. Our team monitors what is published and corrects or removes a piece when something is wrong. More detail is in our editorial standards.
